Hope’s Oval Retainer Ring helps to smooth out your pedalling action and make those extended climbs to the top of the trails less painful. Also, when you’re on the way back down again, you’ll enjoy excellent chain retention thanks to its narrow/wide tooth profile. When used along with a clutch style rear mech, you don’t need a chainguide, so overall weight is reduced and your drivetrain runs quieter and with less drag.

The Oval Retainer chainring is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and provides the perfect blend of low weight and strength. It’s compatible with 9, 10, and 11-Speed set ups and has a hard anodised finish, which makes it ultra durable.
